Seaport Village has a large parking lot with ample spaces. This facility is operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, located at Kettner Blvd, close to Crystal Palace Imports and Buster's Beach House. Parking is charged by the hour at this lot. Formerly, if with any purchase, drivers can enjoy 2 hours of free validated parking and $3 an hour thereafter. However, currently, no free parking is available at this facility and all customers have to pay. Those with any purchase inside the Village just need to pay $1 for the first 2-hour parking and only $4 an hour thereafter. However, considering the traffic and parking hassles in this waterfront area, especially on weekends and during peak seasons like summer, visitors are strongly encouraged to park their vehicles in San Diego downtown area or other places nearby and take advantage of public transportation to get to Seaport Village. Visitors in Downtown San Diego can take San Diego Trolley which has a stop at Seaport Village. Those from north can park vehicles at the County Administration Building just off 1600 Pacific Highway and take the free shuttle bus to the complex. Parking is $10 per day and the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 12 pm to 6 pm.
