The San Diego trolley is the most efficient mode of transportation in San Diego, California. In order to utilize the San Diego trolley, it is best to figure out its many stops and lines so you'll know which ones you'll board in order to reach your destination.
Currently, the San Diego trolley has 3 lines that are identified by color; the blue line, orange line and green line. The blue line operates from Old Town to San Ysidro Transit Center. It passes the Orange line at Park & Market and 12th & Imperial. The Orange line operates from Gillespie Field to Gaslamp Quarter while the green line, the newest line as it started operation only in 2005, starts from Old Town to Santee. There is also the special event trolley that operates from Qualcomm Stadium to 12th & Imperial Transit Center so it's like a short cut from the orange transit to halfway the route of the green transit.
