San Diego Convention Center Events Information

The San Diego Convention Center serves as the primary venue for various meetings, shows and events in the region. It has been regarded as the 24th largest convention center in North America. This magnificent convention building is conveniently located on the harbor of downtown San Diego, with dozens of great hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues within walking distance.

Under management of a non-profit public benefit corporation - the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, the San Diego Convention Center provides nearly 615,701 square feet of exhibition space. It is capable of accommodating up to 125,000 visitors for each event. Since its grand opening in November 1989, the San Diego Convention Center has a rich history of hosting excellent conferences, performances and special events.
