Where to find the San Diego Convention Center?
San Diego Convention Center takes up an advantageous geographical position. Located in the Marina district of downtown San Diego, the center is along magnificent San Diego Bay and near the Gaslamp Quarter. The physical address is 111 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.

How to get to the San Diego Convention Center?
For visitors arriving by plane or train, the San Diego Convention Center is conveniently situated about 3 miles from San Diego Airport and less than one mile from the Amtrak Station. Operated by the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), the San Diego Trolley offers fast and convenient access to the convention center from the airport. The trolley makes two stops directly in front of the center. One is at Harbor Drive / First Avenue and the other one is at Harbor Drive / Fifth Avenue.

Taxis and shuttles are also plentiful and easily accessible from the center, airport, major hotels and downtown locations. 1) Driving south on I-5
For visitors coming from the south via I-5, it is advisable to take Front Street exit. Continue on Front Street until you get to Harbor Drive. Then, bear left and you will find the San Diego Convention Center. Follow the signs to parking entrance.
2) Driving North on I-5
If you are driving from the north via I-5, take Cesar Chavez Parkway exit and make a left. Following Cesar Chavez Parkway, proceed to Harbor Drive. The center will be on the right. There is signage that leads you to the parking entrance.
3) Driving West on I-8
If you are driving west on I-8, take I-8 west to 163 south. Follow 163 south into city and merge onto the 10th Avenue. Then drive on the 10th Avenue and make a right to Market Street. When on the Market Street, turn left to Front Street. Afterwards, take Front Street to Harbor Drive and turn left.
For visitors coming from the west by way of 94, take 94 west into the city until it turns into F Street. Follow F Street to 8th Avenue. After driving onto the 8th Avenue, make a right to Market Street. Follow the Market Street and turn left to Front Street. Then take Front Street and turn left to Harbor Street.
4) Coming from San Diego International Airport
If you are departing from San Diego International Airport, start out going west on Airport Terminal Road. Make a slight left to stay on Airport Terminal Road. Then keep right at the fork and bear left onto N Harbor Drive. Follow the N Harbor Drive to W Harbor Drive which will take you to the center.
5) Coming from Coronado
Driving visitors coming from Coronado are suggested to cross Bay Bridge staying in the right lane. Take the National Avenue exit and turn left onto Cesar Chavez Parkway. Then follow Cesar Chavez Parkway and make a right to Harbor Drive.
