1) Commuter Terminal

The Commuter Terminal of the SAN features 4 gates which are located in a row between the Baggage Claim and Check-in. At present, all the flights operated at the Commuter Terminal fly to or from the Los Angeles International Airport. This terminal is served by four airlines.

- American Eagle - As the largest regional airline system of the world, the American Eagle network has an average of 1700 daily departures and arrivals. It offers flights to over 150 destinations throughout North America and the Caribbean.

- Delta Connection - Delta Connection refers to a series of individually owned regional carriers as well as one wholly owned regional airline.

- United Express - United Express flights are operated by a number of regional airlines. Averagely, the United Express provides more than 2,000 flights to over 150 cities located across the United States and Canada.

2) Terminal 1

The Terminal one is situated on the west side of the Airport, close to Airport Terminal Road. And it is divided into two parts - East and West parts. This spacious terminal includes 19 gates. Gate 1A, 1 and 2 are located in the vicinity of the Southwest check-in of the terminal. Gate 3 to 10 are placed at the East part, while gate 11 to 19 would be found at the West part of the terminal. This terminal is served by three airlines.

- Alaska Airlines (Horizon Airlines) - The Alaska Airlines is an airline based in Seattle and Washington. Founded in 1944, the Alaska Airline operates hubs and secondary hubs at a couple of international airports in the country.

3) Terminal 2

The Terminal 2 is placed next to Airport Terminal Road as well. And it consists of the East and West parts as well. This terminal operates all the international flights of the airport. Terminal 2 is the largest terminal of the San Diego International Airport and boasts up to 22 gates. There are 14 airlines serving this terminal.
