The Qualcomm Stadium is a wonderful venue in the enchanting city for various sports games, performances and other special events. This magnificent stadium was originally completed in 1967 and then expanded in 1984. After that, the seating capacity of the stadium became 61,000. Thanks to another huge expansion in 1997, the stadium is now so spacious that it can furnish seats for 10,500 fans. More amazingly, there are 34 suites and four club lounges available at the Qualcomm Stadium, which definitely offers an opportunity for fans to enjoy thrilling games in an elegant and comfortable setting.

It was not until 1997 when an expansion was conducted that the stadium was named as the Qualcomm Stadium. As a historic stadium in this region, the Qualcomm Stadium, also often referred to as the Q or the Murph, serves as the home of the NFL's San Diego Chargers. Besides, it is also the site for the San Diego State University Aztecs college football team.

Over the years, the Q has hosted a wide range of famous sports events as well as excellent performances. Before 2003, it was the home of the San Diego Padres, a member of the Major League Baseball. Today, every December, the Murph would act as the host to a number of college football games like the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
