Marston House San Diego was built in 1905 in honor of one of the most legendary family in San Diego - George W. Marston, and his wife Anna Gunn Marston. This historical mansion is treasured as one of the 25 most prominent works of the Arts and Crafts movement which flourished in the early 20 century America. Whether wedding guests can visit Marston House and enjoy the view of the entire garden? To enhance your guests' experience and add awesome memories to them, docent-led tours throughout the house will be provided to your guests for one hour and a half during the reception. The number of docents staffed for your wedding depends on your number of guests, commonly 4 to 6 docents. Please keep in mind that no food or drinks are allowed inside the Marston House! Your guests can receive special discount admission into the house, that is $3 per guest (the regular price is $8 per adult). When this issue comes to the formal gardens on the grounds around the house, your guests can enjoy the beauty of the estate until 5 pm when all public visitors should leave. So if your guests want to take a glimpse into the landscapes of the garden, they are suggested to arrive ahead of your scheduled time with the Wedding Office. Is photography allowed at Marston House?
For the fact that Marston House is a quite photogenic site, and due to the fun of other visitors, only a limited number of photos can be shot at a certain time. When you make reservation for wedding, the time for your photography will be fixed. So within this scheduled time, all your photo shoots are allowed.
